One Opinion: Cabbage isn't very good for bunnies, it causes gas (which can be a deadly condition for rabbits), and the lighter-coloured varieties aren't very nutritious and can lead to diarrhea.

Good greens for bunnies include some dark leafy lettuces, herbs, weeds, and green tops of root veggies, but there are many plants that rabbits can't eat, so always research a plant before giving it to your bunny. See the related question below for more information about a healthy rabbit diet.

Another Opinion: Well, it's not poisonous, so introduce a little at a time to see if it causes diarrhea. If it doesn't, and your rabbit likes it, go ahead. Cabbage is real good for rabbits it is good for energy and a little snack to boost up there healthyness so always have cabbage for you bun bun.
No. No matter how much other people feed their rabbits cabbage and say it's fine and the bunny likes it, the answer is no.

Definitely, rabbits can eat some varieties of lettuce, but only in moderation.

White/light-coloured lettuces (like iceberg and romaine hearts) should be avoided entirely: it's low in nutritional value, and it can lead to diarrhea.

Dark-coloured lettuces (like fully-grown romaine, red leaf, green leaf) is healthy for rabbits in moderation. Too much lettuce can lead to illness (like diarrhea or gas). Lettuce can be included in the rabbit's "salad" but not every day.

In order to get sufficient and proper nutrition rabbits must eat large quantities of food. What they eat in the wild is subject to what's available in the environment in which they live. Most commonly, they eat lots of greens and leafy fauna in the spring and dried grass and leaves later in the year. They are sometimes forced to even eat bark, twigs, and shrubs.

Cactus is just another form of vegetation, is generally not toxic, and has the added benefit of containing a great deal of moisture. So rabbits found in drier desert climates most likely do eat cactus, should leafier alternatives not be available.

However, further research from several sources indicates that cactus are one of the few plants that rabbits never eat.

Cabbage isn't very healthy for rabbits, especially the white and light-coloured varieties. Dark-coloured varieties can be given as a treat to rabbits once they're about 6 months old.

Watch out, because cabbage (and all cruciferous veggies) can cause gas in rabbits, which is very serious (even possibly leading to deadly illness: GI stasis). Some rabbits are more sensitive to crucifers than others, so if your rabbit gets gas easily, avoid all cabbages and crucifers; if your bunny is fine with a bit of cabbage, then it's fine as a treat.

All rabbits like to eat cabbage. Just remember not to give them the fat middle of the cabbage, just the leaves. Not too much cabbage, if not it might give your bunny gas, and rabbits can't fart.

Cabbage is alright, but too much is not good, and cabbage is not a recommended item on a rabbit's diet.
