∙ 9y agoStarfish do not drink. Water enters their systems through their water vascular system, and then is expelled out through little tubular feet that provide suction and locomotion in the water. Though starfish do not drink, water is essential to their survival, and if they are taken out of water will die in approximately 5 days of dehydration.
