The PS3 slim can is good but it depends on what kind of person you are. If your a nerd like myself that loves awesome graphics (with hd) then you might not like it cause there no hdmi. if you play Video Games quite a bit but are satisfied with the original ps3s graphics then i would go with that because it can do more that the slim. like play ps2 games and stuff like that so if i had to make a descision then i would go with the bulk
Hope this helps
Like the original PlayStation 3, the PS3 Slim also features HDMI, with the 1.3 profile no less, which supports high-fidelity digital audio formats. Compared to the original PS3, the Slim however utilizes mechanical buttons, as opposed to the touch sensitive ones of the original. The main power switch on the back has also been omitted, leaving only the one on the front. Overall, the Slim boasts roughly a 30% reduction in mass and 60% in weight. The power adapter is still internal, and the new fabrication process allows it to consume less electricity, letting it run quieter than the original model. Additionally, one feature the PS3 Slim introduces is BRAVIASync, allowing the user to control the PS3's functions through the use of their television remote.
If you are talking about ps3 and ps3 slim
The ps3 1st gen yes its bigger but its for a reason it has 8 cells in it and it runs much smoother then slim, it doesnt freeze like slim does because of lack of fans and in ps3 you can swap to bigger hard drive and you can pick PC harddrive that will fit ps3 with up to 2 terabites ps3 slim cant do that.
Are You Crazy PS3 is Aswome i just wish i bought it now for 300
No. In fact they are completely different operating systems and are not compatible (in the sense that a person on the PS3 can not play with someone on the PS4).
There are no differences in the games of the consoles. There is only a difference in the design of the consoles, nothing else. So all PS3 games can be played on any PS3, whether fat or slim.
yes
Yes, Since both are the Same Consoles but one is slim but the other isn't!
No you will not be able to play the games either way. Systems changes on the PS4 allow them more design capability for games and many titles will be released in a downgraded PS3 version. You still will have to have a PS4 to play PS4 games and a PS3 to play PS3 games.
No, the PS4 does not have backward capability and cannot activate (play) PS3 or PS2 games.
Slim probably as it is newer. But then again they could be same
Yes, PS3 Slim can play Rock Band.
You can get a PS3 and the PS4 is not an actual product. If you want a console buy a PS3 because the PS4 can not even be preordered it's release is so far in the future
PS3 slim
PS3 slim
No there are no plans to release a new slim PS4 model. The PS4 is just called the PS4 and not the PS4 slim. A model is called slim when a fatter larger device is upgraded to a smaller slimmer unit. The PS4 will not even be released until the 2013 holiday season
Ps3 Slim.
The ps3 slim doesn't overheat
Ps3 slim is much better! More attractive!
Sony releases the ps3 updates all the time but if you are looking for like upgraded ps3 internally then no. That would make it complete different sysstem there for they are working on ps4 with all new updates. But will you see different versions of ps3 like ps3 and ps3 slim probably yes.
No, the PS3 slim does not come with a game.
no its not ps3 slim is way better
ps3
The original PS3 is "technically" superior. But, the PS3 slim consumes less power, and is smaller. There isn't as much heat with the slim... Personally, I prefer the Original PS3 over the slim.
