As a vampire is a dead body any sort of viral infection (Hepititus A-E, Aids, etc) has no opportunity to become active in it. Bacterial infection however are possible (anthrax, tuberculosis, gangrene, flesh-eating, etc) and making a alcoholic cocktail of the blood might be a way to sterilize it. A Bloody Mary therefore might really be A Bloody Mary, if Mary were involved.
