No you cannot, furthermore you will have to run a conversion tool when trying to open the file.
However, it is not a perfect conversion the majority of the time and unless you are converting some pretty basic code it may require some modification to the code (Or it may just not convert at all).
Download visual studio (Or the Free Version: MS Visual Basic 2010 Express) from the Microsoft development network website.Install the program to your computer.Open the program.Go to File > New Project. Then develop your code (You may wish to consult additional material on the development network if you are unfamiliar to the language)When you have finished developing your code, go to Build > Publish Project to generate an executable installation file you can distribute to other computers.Note: There are related links to the MS VB 2010 Express download site, along with a link to a series of visual basic tutorial videos attached to this answer (See below).
As of this day, Visual Basic 6 is still not available for free...(Legally) However, Visual Basic.NET is available for free from Microsoft and has much more power than Visual Basic 6.
VBS stands for Visual Basic Scripting. It is used for Win9x and later versions of windows. It can be used for registry maintenance, Command Prompt (CMD), and also for pranks (as I do so myself). This is an example of a message box code: x =msgbox("Hello",0, "This is a VBS message box") Put this in notepad or wordpad and save as: anything you want to name it.vbs
If you are talking about VB 2008 EE, then if you are all done with your program, click "File", then 'Save All", then choose where to save it, just save to desktop for quick reference, then press 'Save". It will save to your selected location. Then go to your location you saved it to, open the folder which should be named the name you gave the Form in the beginning. Then open the folders in these stepsProgram's Name\*programs name*/*programs name*/bin/debug/Now in the debug folder, their should be 4 files, an XML Document, a PDB File, a vsHost file, and a windows form application which should be the very first file in the folder.
There is no difference between Visual Basic and Microsoft Visual Basic. We only remove the word 'Microsoft' to save our time and to tell others that what is the name of the company of Visual Basic.
Ummm... I'm not sure
The project file is the file that contains everything visual basic needs to save and run your program.
i love pie
