Recreational use of cannabis has been shown to improve vision in the dark, however, this seems to last only as long as the high. Also, intraocular pressure is reduced, which can relax the muscles and nerves surrounding the eyes. (Consequently, the blood vessels in the eyes dilate, which is why the user's eyes turn red)

As of yet, however, there doesn't seem to be much scientific basis for cannabis restoring typical eyesight.

Contrary to what some people believe, cannabis use doesn't kill brain cells (it in fact produces more, perhaps due to the broadening of your psychological perspective), cause neurological damage (especially not due to "congestion" in your cranial cavity), or blur your vision (unless you were so tired you just didn't feel like focusing your eyes). "impairment of other senses" is a pretty vague claim, though, so it is up to the user to decide if your senses are being impaired, improved, or altered.

Archaic Answer

"No, if you are a user of this particular drug you should be informed that it only kills cells that are located in the brain and could possibly cause neurological damage due to congestion in the cavity. "Weed" is not or ever will be a substance to use for vision based on facts that it can cause blurred vision and impairment of other senses."
