This is not a professional answer, but I would recommend that you call a Veterinarian before doing this. I washed my baby bunny and she died. I think she licked the soap off of her or something. She was fine for a day, but died in the middle of the night after her first bath. A vet will probably be able to tell you the proper procedure for cleaning your bunny.
Don't use soap for the first few times. Just get him used to being handled in the water. After he gets a little older, use small animal soap (or puppy shampoo, that works fine) and lather it on his body. Make sure the water is lukewarm. Keep the water out of his eyes, ears, and nose. Dry him off completely and keep him warm for awhile.
Sure, but make sure he is ABSOLUTELY dry before you put him back in the cage. And warm. Make sure he, and the water is warm.
6 months old.
yes, you should bathe your guinea pig once a month.
yes. I had a 2 year old guinea pig and a 6 month old and the were great together.
no u should not sponge your 1 mounth old guinea pig just lather the guinea pigs hair and rinse it off then wala clean guinea pig
I don't understand. A guinea pig cannot mate (successfully) until it is 7 month old.
You should NEVER bathe a guinea pig. They have oil on their skin that helps them be clean, and germ free. If you bathe them, it will wash all of that oil off. At pet stores, you can get a spray bottle that as good smelling liquid in it. It is wonderful for guinea pigs, but is for ferrits.
Yes you are right. It can.
You have to bathe your guiea pig and use a shading brush
no they must be 1 year
no because a female guinea pig needs to be more than 6 months to fall pregnant Yes, the female guinea pig can become pregnant at 2 months so it is possible.
i would say maybe a sink or if they don't have space there, then the bath tub.
What i do to bathe my guinea pig is to get a large bowl, a sink, or the bathtub and put about 5 or 6 inches of water in (maybe even less then that) Then put in one tiny squeeze of guinea pig shampoo just so there is tiny bubbles around the side of the tub you are using.Use a soft cloth or your hands to bathe your guinea pig. Hold your guinea pig to make it feel secure,it won't drown, and it won't run away. Then gently and thoroughly dry off your guinea pig when finished.
Guinea pigs generally don't like water, so you shouldn't make them swim. Never put a guinea pig in water that is too deep (ie the pig can't stand in it). Be very careful not to get any water in the pig's ears. It's not necessary to bathe young guinea pigs. If you neeed to bathe them for some reason, wait until they're at least 6 months old.the person who has writen that answer is very smart. I'm a guinea pig expert and I totally agree with his or her answer. it is sensible and remember they can swim but they don't like to so don 't try it at home!
