Yes, drinking apple cider vinegar can potentially cause allergic reactions in some individuals, leading to symptoms such as swollen, red, itchy, and scaly eyelids. This could be due to an intolerance or sensitivity to the vinegar itself or to its acidity, which can irritate the skin. If you experience these symptoms after consuming apple cider vinegar, it's advisable to discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation.
Ummmm...... I don't think so. Not unless you are allergic and go into shock or a seizure. I guess it could if you sniff strong-smelling vinegar and nothign else for two long, but it's probably not going to happen.
You can make salsa with pineapple, peaches, star fruit, or mango as the base instead of peppers. For those that are allergic to pepper, exotic fruit with fresh herbs, red onions, tomatoes, vinegar, and garlic makes a great alternative to peppers.
You can be allergic to both but being allergic to one does not mean you will be allergic to the other.
Usually the swelling lasts for a few days.
I've been told that I'm allergic to vinegar. Any thing I eat that contains vinegar (including ketchup and mustard) cause my face and head to sweat for several minutes after I've finished eating. If i use a vinaigrette dressings on a salad I'm dripping sweat from my earloabs and down the back of my neck. No one I've spoken to has ever heard of this.
