Someone can still become an officer in the army if he has a DUI incidence in his records. The army does not deny people with such records and misdemeanors.
What the heck is a DWI?????????? Maybe?
An officer in the Army can become a police officer if they meet the same requirements as anyone else. The Army officer would have to leave active duty and either move entirely into civilian life or continue in the Army Reserves or National Guard to accept a position as a civilian police officer.
no
Some of the penalties from a DWI are as follows. The arresting officer will take your license. If you are under the age of 21 and are caught with a DWI there is zero tolerance. If you are a repeat DWI offender you will get jail time. Your license will be suspended and you will have to pay a big fine.
I doubt that any documents supporting a DWI exist. If you had been under the influence when you were stopped, you probably would have gotten a ride to jail. It would also be nearly impossible to prove because the officer would be placed in the position of defending his decision NOT to arrest you, and would likely become the star defense witness.

Ask your DMV officer
Having a DWI on your record can make it difficult to become a teacher in Texas. Background checks are required to teach in Texas and a DWI could cause a person to be disqualified for a teaching position.
