It is certainly possible to smoke enough marijuana to become quite uncomfortable, which might include nausea or other effects. It is not possible to overdose to the point of death on marijuana. The lethal dose of marijuana is at least one-third your body weight.

It is also unlikely that you will suffer any long-term illness from smoking marijuana. The largest study of the health effects of marijuana to date was done by Kaiser Permanente. They studied the health records of 65,000 patients over a number of years. They found no significant differences between the health histories of those who smoked pot versus those who did not smoke marijuana.

This is consistent with the research done by every major government commission that has studied marijuana in the last 100 years. The full text of these reports is available at

KAYLA'S ANSWER

yes, it's called greening out ; you smoke too much, eat too much. then puke.

Daniel's Answer

"Greening Out" has nothing to do with that sorry Kayla, Greening Out happens when youre smoking that beautiful herb, and you dont circulate enough oxygen to your brain.

For example, if someone puts you in a chokehold and you blackout after a couple seconds due to lack of oxygen to the brain.

Greening out does the same except it smothers your brain with the smoke inhaled from Pot smoking and inturn decreases the amount of oxygen your brain would intake.

that is greening out...

As far as getting sick, like an actual ailment from marijuana, not possible, other than the chances the weed was laced with something, or improper growing or Mould from the curing process even though im pretty sure burning the weed should kill bacterias and whatnot

That would rather depend on who you were sharing the joint with, wouldn't it? Another way to look at it is that doped-up girls and boys act like dopes so the chance for unintended, unprotected sex is high. That leads to diseases being spread and babies being made.

at one sitting? no, you may pass out, you may think your dead, but no you can not overdose on marijuana, in the long term, yes, smoke of any kind can and will kill you if exposed to it enough, but if you had to choose a type of smoke i would much rather see someone be a pot smoker than a tobacco user, with weed, at least you get somthing out of it,

The correct answer is: no, it is virtually impossible to die from marijuana overdose.

As far as I know, there is not a single drug or medication that is dangerous to take with marijuana. Marijuana is neither a stimulant nor a depressant, but a mild hallucinogen, and so it does not affect your heart and central nervous system the way most other drugs do.

It may be harmful if you are due to have anesthesia, and for testing of your heart or lungs.
