If you are emptying all the water from the tank and cleaning it for storage then cleaning the tank with a solution of 10% or less bleech in water would be okay. Be sure to rinse the tank well. After it has dried over a period of time the bleach will have dissipated to the air.
*keep in mind bleach should net be used on porous fish tank decorations.
yeah just clean it well before with some diluted bleach and let it dry out. lizards have bacteria on their skin that can harm the fish
Yes, bleach will kill the bacteria in your aquarium, but it will also kill everything else in the tank.
Usually you can give them a quick scrub with tap water and a tooth brush that's specifically used for the aquarium decorations. If the decorations are covered in heavy algae, then you can use some bleach, but it must be 1 part bleach to 9 parts water (so 1 cup of bleach to 9 cups of water) in a bucket. Let them soak for as long as needed to clean them. Then you need to do a lot of rinsing, and for the final rinse, cover them completely in clean water, and add about a capful of your aquarium water conditioner, then let them sit overnight. Finally, give them yet more rinses just to be safe, and you can add your clean decorations back to your tank.
You don't need to clean yourself with bleach. Soap and water is enough. Bleach is actually harmful to your skin.
I wouldn't recommend it. Most aquarium decorations tend to be made of porous material, which will soak in liquids (such as bleach), and, rather than allowing them to rinse off immediately, will release them when another substance (such as aquarium water) permeates it enough to force the bleach out.
Yes you can. You must use a mix of 1 part bleach to 9 parts water (so 1 cup of bleach with 9 cups of water), and make sure you rinse them very well. Then place them in a bucket with more clean water, add a capful of water conditioner (the same stuff you use for your tank water changes) such as Prime or Amquel+, and let them soak for awhile.
absolutelyu
bleach :/
Jesus Christ no. Do not drink bleach.
bleach help the clothes clean.
It is not recommended to use bleach to clean slate as it can damage the surface and alter its natural appearance. Instead, use a mild detergent and warm water solution to clean slate surfaces effectively.
