You could take the in the same day but not at the same time. They are both benzodiazepines that basically are used for similar conditions. You definitely should not take both at the same time as the effects are additive. It would be like taking an overdose. However they can probably be substituted for each other. It also depends on the doses, and if the Dr prescribed them both for you. A low dose of esch one combined would be totally different than a high dose of both. Check with MD & pharmacist as well.But generally when it comes to these 2 meds, it's one or the other.

Yes...after a right hemisphere brain stroke at age 38, I had to see a doctor and neurologist for a year. I was put on different types of preventive pain medication, Darvon, no pain meds really blended like my 3 blood pressures of Metropol, Apolodine, Lisinopril so it took quite a long time ago find a perfect combination so I could raise my 3 boys, work, and attend church. Next I was put on Paxil for Clinical depression. With that came more experiments in trying to maintain a balance where I could function. Severe headaches, and a second stroke in 2006.
