Simple answer is yes: you can copy memory from one PS2 memory card to another one. There are some hitches though. The worst one I have found is that if you have save files from one game on both of the cards & copy one of those files to the other card, it just writes over the older save. Example - if you had Guitar Hero II data saved on card 'a' & your friend had GHII data on card 'b' & you decided to copy his data onto your card you will have overwritten your game data. There maybe a way around this but I can not find it.
In order to copy a ps3 game, you first have to have a blu-ray burner or BD-RE device in your computer. Then you would have to have software that can crack all the copyright protection codes.
There are hundreds of sites out there that claim you can copy PS3 games if you go out and buy certain software/ hardware. You can tell most of them are false, because they say you can use your cd/dvd burner. If you don't have at least a blu-ray drive in your computer, it won't even read the disc much less burn one.
If you don't already have a BD-RE, you'll have to buy one for around $200 retail. Then you have to find real software that can crack the games. If there is any legit software, it will be pricy.
Short answer, yes it is possible to copy ps3 games, but very very very very very unlikely it will be done, or made available to the average gamer any time soon.
And then when it is possible to do, it will be way more expensive than just buying a couple games.
You can play them on a PS2 or one of the Old PS3 with 4 USB ports can play some PS2 titles. A PS2 emulator can also be used to play about half the PS2 game titles, although the PS2 works much better.
