Wine that's been open for that long is fairly likely to have "turned" ... become vinegar. If you like drinking red wine vinegar, I suggest you just go buy a bottle of that instead.

How long can you keep an unopened bottle of mulled wine?

Since Marsala is a fortified wine it will not spoil, though its taste will decline over time. If you plan to drink marsala, it will taste best within the first few weeks. If you are cooking with it, you can keep it a few months to a year without noticing much of a difference.

Gevrey-Chambertin when should I drink this 1999 wine?

If you kept the bottle at a constant temperature around 60 degrees, then 2015 should be the best year to drink it. If not open it for the next great occasion. It is already good by now. Don't wait more then 25 years.

Can a 10 year old open bottle of red wine be applied for hair styling?

That would be up to the parents or legal guardian of the ten year old.The thought is that polyphenols found in wine make your hair soft and shiny but I think if the bottle has been open for ten years maybe it has lost some of it's original qualities.

Is a 1992 bottle of Zinfandel wine fit to drink?

It depends on so many variables that there is only one way to find out: open it and taste it. Sorry for the non-answer but it's been my experience that there is no other way to determine if a bottle of wine is good or not. I've had 10+ year old Zinfandels that were wonderful. I've had 5 year old Zinfandels that were not good at all. Of course all of the variables come into play: year, vintner, vineyard, storage conditions, etc. Have a bottle you know is good as an alternate should the wine turn out bad. Cheers

Is 2007 a better year for wine than 2006?

That really depends on what type of wine and where it is from. 2006 may have been a great year for one type of wine in Napa, but terrible in another region.
