Provided you could start the car, there is no reason whty you couldn't as they function almost as an automatic does.
Usually it's the other way around. There's one license that covers manual AND automatic transmissions. And one that is only good for automatics.
I think it depens on what country you live in, I live in Norway, here you can take your license with an automatic, BUT you cannot drive manual cars. i think this rule goes for most countries. I recommend take it with manual and you can drive both.
Yeah but it means you get a licence condition on the back that says you can only drive automatic until you get your full. Once you've got your full you can drive whatever you want
The first fully automatic transmission was the Hydro-matic, offered in the 1940 Oldsmobile. There were semi-automatics (GM's Automatic Safety Transmission and Chrysler's Fluid Drive) available in 1937.
A licence (or license) ALLOWS you to drive a car. It does not REQUIRE you to drive a car.
A fully automatic car doesn't need any action at all to change gear, a semi automatic car can have no clutch pedal, just a gear stick which you pull backwards to gear up or pedals behind the steering wheel.
In the United States it is not required that you have a drivers license of any type to purchase and own a car. You do need a license though to drive the car.
No! It is illegal to drive a car without a licence.
A semi automatic would allow you to shift manually when up shifting for performance. A lot of cars appear to let you do that but, a semi automatic will shift into that gear instantly. Not when it wants to.
You don't need a license to buy a car, but you need a license to drive a car on a public highway.
yes you need a separate license to drive a lorry. if you passed your license in 1997 or before you can drive up to 7.5tonne lorry on normal car license in UK
