Yes you can dye the mesh but not the head. i wouldn't suggest dying mesh because it makes it hard. I would advise taking the mesh off before doing so, or doing it before you string the head. Also, you can buy almost any color mesh before stringing your head, which would probably be the easiest way to get the color you want.

How do you dye a lax head without getting the mesh dyed but keep the mesh on the head while dying it?

You don't. You have to take the mesh off first. Maybe you can spray the mesh with a waterproof spray but I doubt it will work. To dye a lax head the water has to be hot. Hot water will take off any spray or wax that you put on the mesh.

How do you dye lacrosse mesh with the head still with the mesh?

I'm trying to do the same thing. I have a traditional stringing (with the leather & normal strings) tape over the head completely and tightly so it doesnt get dyed, make sure it's totally covered...then dip it in the dye. It should work. I head RIT dye is the best.

Will dying your lacrosse heads mesh will still on mess it up?

No, But Typically most players will not dye a head with mesh still on it for two reasons. 1. Wear and tear on your stick will cause that mesh to fade so for example if you dyed it black over time the mesh will turn gray or a light black. 2. Some times if the sting/mesh is to tight with the head you will not get a correct die and some parts of your head will be the original color and others will be the color you dyed it. So the answer to your question no it will not mess it up but i would suggest that you buy colored mesh and dye the head separately to avoid these problems.

How do you dye lacrosse soft mesh three colors?

The easiest way would be to get three different colors , make sure that you have a light, medium and darker color. Dye the mesh all in the lightest color, then allow to dry, unless you want some bleeding between colors and fin a way the suspend the mesh over the dye to make another line in the mesh when its put on the middle colored dye. Repeat for darkest color, dyeing the rest.
