Yes in fact, it's quite easy to fail a drug test with only one or two pulls from a joint. That being said, concentration of THC, volume of said pull(s), and time between smoking and testing are all equal players in the pass/fail possibilities of the outcome of a drug test.

Yes. One hit is enough to cause a "failed" drug test. You can pass a drug test for marijuana from second hand smoke. Second hand smoke or a contact buzz will still show up positive, but at trace amounts. There is a small amount aloud in your system. This is done in case you are around smokers.

Now, down to my opinion...should we have drug tests??? NO! What people do on their own time should be their OWN business. Legalize it all. Tax it. Control it. Export it to countries that also have legalized drugs.

I don't know if 1 hit would pass a hair or other kinds of tests, but a urine test, yes, you CAN get away with that. It does depend on how much you've had in the past, how often, how potent the weed is, and how effective your metabolism is, but I have gotten through urine tests from being tested after a weekend of a few hits off a joint. One hit does NOT nec. mean you're gonna fail. Depends on the test..... there is a cutoff level by law for each test.

You can fail a drug test if you've been exposed to any drug the test is designed to screen for. That may or may not include marijuana. Drug tests may come back positive for marijuana if you unintentionally consumed marijuana in an edible state or of you inhaled a lot of second-hand marijuana smoke. If you have not smoked or eaten marijuana recently (within 1-2 months depending on what kind of test) and the test comes back positive, the test may be faulty and you should try again.
