No, you can feed them food made specifically for them, like 'BettaMin'. That's what I feed mine.
Brine shrimp.
newborns should be feed baby brine shrimp :) and i suppose you feed them when ever you feed a regular betta
specific betta flakes pellets brine shrimp their own eggs== lol if they breed blood worms== what i feed mine. and now it jumps at my finger and bites at it.
well, I'm not sure, if you dont have Betta food, just feed them blood worms, brine shrimp ,sea monkeys. Betta's are meat eaters so...
The bigger the tank, the better. I use my spare 10 gallon on my brine shrimp. I raise them to feed my betta.
Baby brine shrimp or liquifry are needed for the first week, but after this they do very well on crushed betta pellets, vinegar eels and microworm.
Betta usaley eat stuff like blood worms , brine shrimp, betta pellet food/flakes. bettas are meat eaters, but you can feed it 1 crushed pea a week, make sure you peel the pea. LOL
It is always wise to vary the food of any fish. Adding a bit of live food such as Brine Shrimp once a week (or more) is good.
Bettas can eat worms, brine shrimp, frozen live food, freeze dried live food, and that's it. DO NOT feed your bettas FLAKES. They will give you a look you will never see again.
Yes! You can buy brine shrimp at a local pet store, just ask the owner how to feed them to a beta fish. Usually you freeze them and don't need to clean them. I just got brine shrimp and I'm excited to try them out! Goodluck :]
Blood & Earth Worms, Brine Shrimp, Mosquito Larva, Cyclops, and Crustations (Ghost Shrimp) :D
Sea monkeys are Brine shrimp and eat 'spirulina' which is a kind of algae.
