To remove mould from clothing you can try to soak the garments in vinegar (diluted acetic acid) for a few hours then wash them normally.

Is it possible to get mold out of clothes?

Certainly, but be careful not to get the mold on you or breathe it--especially if you are allergic to mold. First, with your clothing in the washer, run the rinse cycle with cold water and a cup of white vinegar. When that is done, mix 1/4 c Cascade (or other dishwasher detergent) and 1/4 c Bleach in a container with hot water. Add to the partially full washing machine (warm water) and allow the machine to agitate a couple of minutes. Turn it off and let soak for 15 minutes before running the wash cycle. (use as little water for this load as will mainly cover the clothing. Check the clothing to see that the mold is gone. If not, place clothing in the sun for a few hours. After that, in either case, run through a regular wash cycle with soap.

How do you remove mold smell from velvet clothing?

If your problem is just a lingering mold smell (and spores that are trapped in the fabric) then I would suggest using an ozone generator or finding a dry cleaner that uses ozone for such things.Ozone is going to break down the mold smell, but it is also going to destroy the mold spores which prevents them from turning into active mold growth in the future. You can rent ozone generators... looks like the top google result for "ozone generator rental" eventually leads here: http://www.ozonesolutions.comIf instead you already do have mold actively growing on the cloth (might be worth a close inspection) then you will almost certainly need to have a professional look at it.

How can you get rid of mold?

spray it with bleach let it sit and then spray with vinegar or water. repeat if needed ,leave bleach on for a night reapplying frequently.NOT true bleach and vinegar DO NOT kill mold go to EPA WEBSITE ..Kill mold with flo-X Mold and Mildew Cleaner for best results.Read more: How_do_you_get_rid_of_mold_on_flox_flowersThe biggest myth is Mold and Mildew Stain Removers, as a mold stain is the residue left over from dried out mold. THis means these products are only cleaning the stain left over after the mold is already dead, not actually killing the mold. Its a grey area where manufacturers of these cleaners are trying to get around EPA regulations. As for Mildew, mildew is a grime (dirt) not mold.

How do you get iron mold out of cotton pillow case?

I. VinegarA very unusual approach would be to use vinegar in removing mold stains and its smell. Vinegar is very useful and effective in removing the 'moldy' smell from clothes. Add 3/4 cup white vinegar to a load of wash. The vinegar will remove any moldy smell from clothing. Repeat this process until all traces of mold and its smell are gone. Use detergent afterwards to thoroughly clean your clothes. What's so interesting about this process is that vinegar itself is made through fermentation with the help of a certain type of mold.II.
