You never want to drink or eat anything that is grossly out-dated. Most things say expired by or "enjoy" by a certain date. You should know that veggies and fruits have live enzymes, which will eventually die. All things considered, if the juice has been stored properly, has not been opened and seems to be without a foul smell when you do open it, it should be OK. Enzymes don't come with timers and they don't know one day from the next. If you are only drinking or eating fruits or veggies a day or so after an expiration date, it should be OK. (Remember, I'm not a doctor, but I do grow my own fruits and veggies!)
yes
You probably would not get sick unless you drank a large amount of it. Expired orange juice is made from preserved oranges. The date on the bottle is the suggested date you should open it by, not the expiration. Although it would have been more precautions to drink it by that date, it's fine if you just had SOME.Personal Experiences:I drank a thing of Fruit peach drink, it says to refrigerate after opening, it wasn't open and I had quite a big amount of it. Within 20 minutes I was puking it all up. I have no idea how old it was but it is completely possible its 1-4 years old. It gave me an upset stomach(even after puking) and I took some antacids which helped. So I would say that drinking old or expired orange juice would likely be bad for you.I have been drinking orange juice that is 2-4 weeks passed the expiration/sell by date and i haven't had any symptoms of being sick yet.
My advice, throw it out.
Yes violently sick. Similar to food poisoning but a hare worse. The one I drank was expired by 10 days. I know that sounds bad, but there were only 3 left and the day before when I drank one it did not make me sick. So it seems that 10 days is the turning point.
Yes, of course you will either get really sick or yes food poisoning...
Just like most edible food items, you may in fact get sick if the juice has been left out for an unreasonable amount of time. However, if the unfrozen juice is still cool and has not been out for more than a few hours it will probably be okay.
dry soy is just like any other food. if you eat expired food, there's a chance that you might get sick and might not get sick.
you will get sick
You will get sick
yes you can get sick from it
Actually, it is a myth that drinking orange juice prevents sickness, but it's a myth with some truth to it. Orange juice is high in vitamin C. This vitamin is very important to the immune system in fighting off disease. So, while drinking orange juice probably will not prevent every cold or case of the flu, it will definitely give you the vitamin C that helps your body to resist the illness, and it may even speed recovery along. That said, if you are asking whether drinking orange juice can make you sick, there are some people who find orange juice difficult to digest because it is acidic. If you are someone who gets heartburn after drinking orange juice, you may want to seek another kind of juice that agrees with your digestive system better.
Well, think about it: If it's expired, then, yeah. Anything expired can make you sick. I mean, what's the point of saying something will expire by jan 20 or something if it will not make you sick. But uh...I'm twelve so...but still come on
