I had to do this a few months ago. What i did was put the guinea pig i already had in the run on the grass. I then got a washing basket and turned it upside down and put it in the run with the new guinea pig/s underneath it. (hope that makes sence) The washing basket had holess so the guinea pig that is free in the run can sniff the new guinea pig. Watch what the reactions are are keep and eye on them. My 4 guinea pigs get along fine but it's just pot luck!!! Hope this helps.. Leave me a message if you want any more advice..... Laura
yes you can i know from experience you can, you just have to make sure that the boys are well behaved and nice or they might kill it and you might see the older guinea pig rubbing its but on the baby, this is to mark its sent and cover up the mothers sent marking it as his own.
I had this problem. Firstly put both female guinea pigs into a area where neither have been. Then take sawdust from the guinea pigs cage and sprinkle and rub onto the new baby. That will then make youyr old guinea pig smell her sent and become closer to the little un. Hold them near each other for a bit then let them out on the floor. They will then sniff and make some funny noises. They should then be fine after that but if there is any blood separate them at ONCE!! good luck!
Yes you can. I introduced two 6 month old female babies to my 4 year old female guinea pig and she did fine with them. Just remember that some personalities don't go good together, so you will want to watch them and make sure they get along.
It depends, if you are going to get a new guinea pig then first you have to put the two guinea pigs in a box together. Watch them very closely. If you see any of them chattering their teeth or rumbling or swaying then they don't like each other and you can't do anything about that. So watch them for a long time and do it a few times before actually getting the new guinea pig because otherwise if they don't like each other then they will get hurt by biting each other and you would have to get a separate cage for each of them and not let them run around outside their cage at the same time.
put them on the floor and hold them tight so they can sniff each other you'll know if they will get on when it happens
Yes, they can do this. Make sure that they do not fight. They should get along if they are both female. You should house males by themselves.
No not really because the 6 month old guinea pig would push the younger guinea pig out of the way.

I don't understand. A guinea pig cannot mate (successfully) until it is 7 month old.
about 600 grams if it is a girl
i have 2 15 months old female guinea pigs can i introduce a new baby guinea pig
Guinea pigs are smart creatures and if you really try you may be able to but like dogs you can't teach an old guinea pig new tricks
try and mix the new pellets in the food, and after a few meals slowly add more new food and less old food, until your only serving the new food. if your guinea isn't eating, go back to the old food right away
yes. I had a 2 year old guinea pig and a 6 month old and the were great together.
YES. It is normal, but it will continue until: a) Baby is all grown up. (Not likely) b) Baby is dead (sad, but true.) The only thing to do is separate them.
Papua New Guinea is approximately 75 years old, the country itself.
Yes you are right. It can.
A new guinea pig?
no they must be 1 year

most guinea pigs are longer than this. My baby guinea pigs get this big when they are only a month or two old
It Depends on How Much Change it hase in it! LOL

no because a female guinea pig needs to be more than 6 months to fall pregnant Yes, the female guinea pig can become pregnant at 2 months so it is possible.
