No problem, my advice is use generic diazepam and quality cannabis, and avoid alcohol.

It seems like you can as long as you're taking them because I was precribed Valium and percocet 5/325 and was fine for almost a year and a half. Now that I don't need them anymore, there seems to be a problem. Something has stuck either the percocet or the Valium and when you stop you wish you were dead. My suggestion would be stay away from them!!! Try EVERYTHING ELSE BUT THOSE DRUGS!!!!! They are very dangerous. I stopped for 2 weeks and still having very strong withdrawals. Doesn't seem to get any better. and the doctors didn't tell me anything. even at the ER, they said theres nothing they can do unless I wanted to start up again and try to get off slower. It sucks! Don't do it!

Answer:I know you can take one Valium 2mg and 2 vicodin 5/500mg, as I've had to do this for a medical procedure, but I would check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking percocet with Valium, especially if you're taking more than 2 mg of Valium. When I took the Valium and Vicodin together I was so sleepy i was only able to be awake for 15 seconds at a time, so personally I'd never take percocet and Valium together without a doctor's orders, for fear of passing out or worse.a Answer2:Don't mix the two...

I am a CCDC (Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor) in the state of California. Whoever advised you to stop cold was incorrect. You need to wean yourself off those drugs slowly. No wonder you are miserable, you don't need to be.

I have help wean 100's of patients off controlled substances just like you.

Talk to the doctor that prescribed the Rx's and have him help you.

Answer3:I inadvertently became addicted to Valium when I was 16 years old (1970). At that time, the pharmaceutical compendiums did not list Valium as either physically or psychologically addictive. It is both in spades.

I believe the company that developed it knew of the addiction dangers but chose not to disclose the study results that would reveal this truth. It would have hurt their bottom line, and they couldn't allow that now, could they?

The withdrawal is hell to go through. When I was suddenly deprived of my medication, after about a week to 10 days I was hallucinating, I was nauseous, trembling, paranoid, fearful, had insomnia, was extremely anxious, and had a sense of impending doom. Believe it or not, the withdrawal symptoms are a whole lot worse than they sound here.

I don't know what it is like to withdraw from opiates, natural or synthetic, but I would guess that going through both Valium and opiate withdrawals at the same time must be one of the most horrible experiences one can have.

Having said all that, I still use Valium occasionally, as well as other benzodiazepines. If used responsibly for therapeutic use, and not overused, I think they are a good choice for certain anxiety disorders for those who do not wish to have their brain chemistry screwed around with by SSRI's, which I refuse to do. I tried them and I end up being in a mess, as were other family members.

The slow withdrawal method that was mentioned above has worked for me on 2 separate occasion with 2 other benxodiazapines, Ativan (lorazepam) and Rivotril (clonazepam ). When I felt I no longer needed the drug, I titrated my dose down slowly, even splitting pills in two, for a month or so. It worked well, with very minor discomfort. I think it would also work well with Valium.

I have mixed oxyodone with Xanex and fell asleep...thing is my doc prescribes me this but i am also 6'5 300 pounds and take 30 mg of oxy (PERKS WITH OT THE TYLENOL) 4 times a day. I got switched to Valium which did not make me as groggy.....DO NOT MIX STUFF without talking to a doctor or Phrmasist first.

you can but its very dangerous if you do to much of both. you'll speed ball and it will make your heart beat irregular.
