It would be very unwise to mix methocarbamol, a muscle relaxant, and tramadol, a pain killer... They are both downers and you can easily take just a little too much especially if you don't have a tolerance. So if this happens you will stop breathing and die...

MONITOR: Central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effects, especially in elderly or debilitated patients.

MANAGEMENT: During concomitant use of these drugs, patients should be monitored for potentially excessive or prolonged CNS and respiratory depression. Ambulatory patients should be counseled to avoid hazardous activities requiring complete mental alertness and motor coordination until they know how these agents affect them, and to notify their physician if they experience excessive or prolonged CNS effects that interfere with their normal activities.

Yes, they coincide with each other so there is no threat but do not take more than your tolerance can handle if your just starting these meds!!!

They are both sedating so you would be sleepier than normal, otherwise nothign bad would happen.
