Yes, you would have to modify the Wii either via soft mod eg. homebrew or modchip. My experience is with installing the homebrew channel and after installation using the homebrew channel to run other applications including emulators capable of playing gameboy,SNES,Sega Genesis etc. It should only be done by someone experienced or willing to take responsibility of their Wii if it is damaged.

∙ 14y agowell first of all you need one of those connector cables for the Game cube that has a Game Boy Advanced socket as the controller and then plug in your GBA in it then plug the other end in the NGC socket then your done!

∙ 13y agoNo, the GBA portion of a DS is completely unable to access the DS's wireless capabilities. A GBA game in a DS is unable to connect to any device, be it a GBA with a wireless adaptor, another DS, a Gamecube or a Wii.

∙ 14y agoNo, there is no slot for the cartirdige and the download service does not yet offer gameboy games (as of 2009). You can play them on a GameCube but you need the GameBoy player device.
