Bad things happen to people because they don't take care, follow directions , do stupid things, and don't pay attention. A "thing" like Facebook just opens the door for people to make mistakes and allow things to happen. I doubt anyone would go down to the mall and give a stranger their personal information, but people do that everyday on a computer .
