Depending on the model and year of the Dakota, there are three possible locations for the fuse boxes. Older years had just the fuse panel under the driver's side dashboard left of the steering column. Newer models have a fuse box under the hood behind the battery and sometimes another fuse panel on the driver's end of the dashboard between the dash and the door accessible only with the door open.
