Not directly. You would need to format the hard drive and install Vista from scratch. Note that the very best computers that shipped with Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000, or Windows ME are scraping the very bottom of Vista's minimum system requirements. It may not be a very cost effective upgrade to install Windows Vista on such an old computer.

∙ 8y agoYes, you have to have the XP install cd,. but you have to change FAT32 to NTFS so unless u find a video on that or something on that or are good at that, then do it, but if not then the easiest way is to install XP on a fresh install

∙ 12y agoYes you can. XP is the next updated OP after ME, or Windows 2000. Youll have to update some things using the windows updater, but windows XP should upgrade easy and clean.
