Yes you can quit basic training at any time, and receive a complementary bus ticket (possible plane ticket) home in most countries
I know while I was in Basic I tried to quit and they made me go speak with a MSGT of the squadron and he tried to make me feel bad for wanting to quit but not everyones cut out for the military. i ended up getting out 10 months later! its everyones choice....
When you DESERT your post, you go to court. The court will find you guilty 99.99% of the time, and you will be sentenced for 10-25 or 30 years
You'll be a coward for life
Go to 'Go Army' and you can watch a video on what Basic Combat Training is like. Each person has their own thoughts about Basic, to some it is easy to others it will be the hardest thing they will ever do in their lives. Those who have hard times are those who were babied their entire life, never got yelled at, have issues with authority figures, have issues running or any type of physical activity, those who have a history of quitting on themselves and others, have never been away from home, can not go without television, their cellphones or the Internet for more than one hour. Basic is to easy, it is more mental than physical, you mind will always quit before your body will. No one basic is easier than the other as well the Marines Boot Camp is not easier or harder than the US Army's, each person is different.
a football player who quit to enlist in the army{good hard working man}
His army was defeated, he was trapped in a bunker, he shot himself in preference to facing a court on a charge of attempted genocide.
Nothing. In some countries martial law was implemented, so police who did'nt join yhe army had to quit the force.
Yes. The Army Ranger's RIP (Ranger Indoctrination Program) is much harder than USMC Basic Combat Training. The final phase of RIP is spent near Fort Eglin, Florida, and involves a night time air drop into the swamps of Florida. - - - - - There are actually two "Ranger Training" schools, and both are tougher than Marine boot camp. Ranger School is a 61-day course focusing on small-unit tactics. It has three phases--the Benning Phase at Fort Benning; the Mountain Phase at Camp Merrill, GA, and the Florida Phase at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. Any combat arms soldier can go to Ranger School; it is required for NCOs and Officers assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment. The 8-week Ranger Assessment and Selection Program replaced the Ranger Indoctrination Program. It's twice as long (RIP was four weeks) and twice as tough. Most guys do not fail RASP. They quit. Forty percent of everyone who arrives at RASP quits the first day. Eighty percent of everyone who goes to RASP quits before the end of the course. That school is no joke.
i don't know about the non-scholarship part, but if u are in smp you have signed a Contract with the Guard or Reserves, not ROTC. This means if you quit or get kicked out of ROTC you still have an obligation to the army, and from what i understand you will be demoted to privet and will go to basic like everyone else.
you never quit training you never quit training
Time-release saltpeter. They make your penis quit working until graduation day.
Yes, you can quit. Not really, The day you take that oath, is the day you make the commitment for service. Boot camp is hard for everyone, your not the only one. There are certain things that can have you removed from basic training, but you cant just say you quit and leave. So no you cant just quit
Winners never quit, and quitters never win. The defeated army quit the field.
When prospective SEALs quit training, they are said to have 'rung the bell'.
yes, you have up to 180 days to quit before you go to basic training. If you decide that your to chicken to go then quit. the recruiters dont tell you that you have 180 days but you do. they will bug you but ignore em then theyll leave you alone. But look out they might use you as an example (Brig) if your over 180 days
