yes u can , but you will also need matching computer changed over
how many gallon radiator is the 1997 buick riviera
No, just the sub frame.
A variety of options exist. See the Reatta forum http://www.reatta.net/. What is a riviera witch?
No , just the 3.8 liter V6 engine , " regular " or supercharged
The supercharger is adding HP to the motor
the GTP model has the supercharged engine in it
I have a 97 SC and it is located between the firewall and engine on the drivers side of the car. It is low down on the engine on that side. Hard to see in poor light.
There should be a schematic on the fan shroud for the serpentine belt I don't know about a '98 Riviera but I have a 1996 Riviera & it's in my original owners manual. Athough I do not have a engine belt diagram on the fan shroud, I do have a decal for the enviormental control system. ANSWER: There is a schematic in the owner's manual of the '98 Riviera.
The S denotes the 2.3 Supercharged engine one the Mazda millenia (rather than the regular 2.5)
i dont really understand your question, but if your asking if you can put a supercharged engine into a non supercharged frame then yes. but you will have to take out the axle. that can be annoying. email me if you have more questions firstname.lastname@example.org
a 2.3 liter 2300cc gasoline powered engine, after 1999 the 230 is called a 230 kompressor when supercharged. Kompressor is German for Supercharged so all Kompressor models are supercharged.
My PA is a 91 and not supercharged - but, according to the Haynes Manual (and actual experience) I had to; 1 jack up the engine 2 disconnect the passenger-side engine mount COMPLETELY LOOSE 3 remove and replace the water pump 4 re-attach the engine mount note; the engine mount is TIGHT and must be replaced tight! Have FUN!
The 3800 engines with the superchargers require premium gas. Higher octane fuel prevents engine from self ignition of oxygen and gas causing engine misfire.
Yes, it requires transmission, engine wiring harness and computer from donor car.
It is recommended and you might get better performance and more life out of it. But you can run regular fuel in it
Kit available at auto parts w/instructions
Well if it's supercharged, its the 2.3L. If it's the non-supercharged, then its the 2.5L.
YES IT IS. That motor has been around forever. Yes and no... It is the same engine that's been around since the 70's.However, they have upgraded the engine many times due to more strict emission standards. So in a sense it's the same engine. But some of the new supercharged engines come with more horsepower due to a smaller pulley turning the supercharger, boasting the horsepower from 240 bhp back in 1997 to 260 bhp now. This does not apply to all of GM's cars. Since buick is using a 3.5 litre engine in their new La Crosse, they chose not to run the supercharged, but stick with the non-supercharged 3.8 engine as the base engine.
No. The 272 & 292 V8 installed in the 1957 Ranchero were not supercharged.
if a Benz has a kompressor decal it means the engine is supercharged
a supercharged muscle car engine
