If theprocessor is undamaged and has cooled down it should start to work normally. If not then the unit is probably damaged.

When my computer would unexpectedly shut down on its own it turned out that the processor fan was bad and the computer was shutting down due to the processor overheating.

there is no mechanical shut off switch if the fuel is shut down the computer can do it but you need a scan tool to fix that
