YES! Replace the head gasket or destroy the engine if you continue to drive it.
There will be a great loss in power especially up hills and if there is a head gasket leak there will be a loud puttering sound from the head gasket area. You may also notice the problem gets worse as you drive the vehicle.
you dont, you will kill the engin!
You've got either a leaking intake gasket or a leaking head gasket. It's a serious problem which needs to be repaired.
Yes it is.
Did you just change the head gasket or did you take the head to a machine shop to be checked? If you didn't take the head to machine shop the most likely answer is the head is warped and not allowing new gasket to seal properly. It's possible that the machine shop can redeck the head and it will be fine. Hope this is helpful!!!
You may very well have a blown head gasket. This is a very serious problem and if you continue to drive the vehicle you will destroy the engine. Get it repaired ASAP, and stop driving it until you do.You may very well have a blown head gasket. This is a very serious problem and if you continue to drive the vehicle you will destroy the engine. Not very far. If it's only the head gasket your engine should still run but driving it is a very bad idea. with a blown head gasket the coolant channels wont be sealed and you'll lose it all. without coolant the engine would overheat in a matter of minutes.
It could still be the head gasket.
There are no particular years that cause a head gasket failure, it can happen any time.
Sure you CAN, but if you do continue to run an engine with a blown head gasket you will destroy the engine. Do not run any engine with a blown head gasket or you will be buying a new engine.
