no because they are both made out of opiates
I am not a doctor or a pharmacist, so my suggestion is to contact one of those, but normally the answer would be "yes." Codeine is NOT in dilaudid normally. It could be mixed with the drug, I'm sure. But I do not know of any dilaudid product that normally comes with codeine. There may be, but I'm not aware of any. There are medications that come with codeine as an ingredient. They are not as powerful as dilaudid however. These medications include Tylenol 3, among others. My suggestion is to contact a doctor, a physician's assistant or a pharmacist.
dilaudid does not contain codeine, however please talk to a doctor
Demerol is an opiod just like codeine, so there is potential for an allergic reaction. I would not advise taking it without making sure your not allergic to it first.
No. Morphine is the naturally occurring opioid, while dilaudid is a synthetic. You have to watch for respiratory depression in both drug administrations.
im allergic to morphine and even tho i hydrocodone(vicodin) and the sorts metabolize into morphine in the liver i can still take it or oxycodone(percocet) also the medicine hydromophone ( dilaudid) is good for heavy pain and is what hospitals give to patients allergic to morphine.
210 The real answer according to Mass Pain Clinic is 7.5mg Dilaudid = 30mg Morphine per Mass.HospitalPain Clinic That is an ORAL dose... it changes if it is admistered IV to: 1.5mg Dilaudid IV = 10mg Morphine IV
what can i take to show the same as dilaudid on a lab test
codiene will have no effect if you are taking morphine - morphine in value exceeds morphine by 1/1000
Yeah of course, real ecstasy doesn't have morphine in it!
30 mg of Morphine IR is equal to approximately 8 mg of Diluadid, so there is about a 4mg morphine to 1 mg of dilaudid ratio. So 45 mg of morphine would be equal to 5.6 mg of dilaudid. To answer your question, 45 mg of Morphine IR would stronger than taking the 4 mg of dilaudid.
ALOT of morphine
Dilaudid is a very serious painkiller. Penicillin is an antibiotic, which has no connection to dilaudid. A penicillin allergy would not prevent you from using dilaudid. However, dilaudid is addictive, and it should not be used unless it is really necessary, and only on a doctor's orders. Don't play around with drugs of this kind.
no
Depends on morphine form. Solution stronger
Oxycodone is a narcotic drug with no acetaminophin or Ibprofrin. Dilaudid is not mixed with anything. Dilaudid is also stronger than morphine, as is Oxycodone. 5mg dilaudid is equivalent to approx. 40mg of morphine. Do not take any drug unless ordered by a doctor, as either drug can cause severe problems if taken improperly. Oxycodone is an immediate release drug where Oxycontin is the same as Oxycodone but as a time release.
It all depends on what exactly your allergic to. If you are allergic to all opiates, than NO, you cannot take methadone, but if you are allergic to a certain chemical in morphine than you can take methadone because it is a different type of opiate and it is synthetic. But I would consult your physician before taking another opiate like methadone if you are allergic to morphine. But for example, my friend was allergic to "Percocet" because of the acetaminophen that is mixed in with the pill, but he was able to take oxycontin, which is the same drug as is used in percocet, because the acetaminophen was absent.
