You can, but you're sort of pushing the envelope. Vyvanse is a pure stimulant, used to treat ADHD. Vicodin (or hydrocodone) is an opioid painkiller, but here's the rub. 10 years ago, Hydrocodone was listed as something that would put you to sleep. In the most recent releases of the Physcian's Desk Reference (PDR), Vicodin is listed as having some stimulant effects, especially for chronic users. There's no doubt that chronic users of hydrocodone report sleep disorders, stimulation, and a variety of symptoms associated with classical stimulants. So there is evidence of a neurochemical change resultant from long term Vicodin usage that may cause your body to treat it more as a stimulant than as a depressant or sleep inducer. So - at this time I can find no listings of negative interactions between these two drugs in the literature, but I caution you that this may be emerging data. If you have to use the two together, be careful.

I took hydrocodone with this medication recently and it made me have uncontrollable movements. The doctor had to give me Benadryl to calm it down.
