It is never recommended that you mix painkillers. Co-codamol is paracetamol (acetaminophen) with codeine added. Before mixing pills of any kind, it is advised that you seek the advise of a health care professional.

There is no dangerous interactions between the two. Depending on what your taking the codeine for ibuprofen may be just as effective as the aspirin and wont thin your blood.
