If you happen to live in the East Valley (Mesa, Tempe, Gilbert, Scottsdale) Of Arizona. Then you cant attend EVIT free of charge while you are still in high school. You will attend your "home school" for your core classes, i.e. Math, English, History etc. for half the day. Then you would attend EVIT for the other half of the day to take your elective class. In your case, Culinary arts. Look into it soon because once you graduate high school you would be charged full tuition. It's an excellent school by the way. They have all new state of the art equipment and instructors who love what they do and students who are learning! And if you are someone who does not want to attend high school any longer, don't give up because you may even be able to take your home school classes online.
