Relpax may increase blood pressure, and it is an indication of dayquil that you should not take it if you have high blood pressure. I would think this means you shouldn't mix the two.
As a general rule, you shouldn't mix drugs anyway. Bare minimum is best.
Relpax works by narrowing the blood vessels around the brain and dayquil may also cause poor circulation to the hands and feet. Sounds like another reason not to mix them.
While taking Lexapro, should I take NyQuil while I have a cold?
My doctor said that it is fine to take both.
You should ask your pharmacist if this is OK. Depending on what other medications you are taking - it should be fine, BUT check with the pharmacist first!
Yes, but it will make you really, really sleepy. You will probably not get up and go to work the next day!
It is not safe to take NyQuil while also taking Adderall, Klonopin, Lexapro, and Percocet, as it can cause seizures and other serious side effects.
You should not mix medication unless perscribed by a doctor. If someone that is not a doctor say that it is okay don't take their advice because what worked for them may not work for you.

Sometimes SSRIs like Lexapro and benzodiazepines like Klonopin need to be adjusted, or you need to just find a different medication that doesn't cause bad side effects. For example, to replace the Lexapro, there are drugs such as Prozac and Zoloft, and to replace the Klonopin (if you think that is causing you more side effects) there are drugs such as Ativan and Xanax. Good luck!
