yes you can in very small doses,its not recommended in the third trimester or late stages of pregnancy as the baby can become addicted to the drug thus resulting in premature labour the baby being underweight or also might have breathing problems,if you can take paracetamol instead then this is fibe but dihydrocodeine in small doses can also be fine and this is what ive been now told by 3 dr's,i got conflicting answers at the begining but found out in the end that if it ouweights the rist to ur own health then this is fine but please try cutting down.

i was on 30mg tablets and used to take 7-8 a day but now only 3 so think ive done good,stopped smoking too,i also take diazipam but again have been told in very small doses is ok too so just keeping my fingers crossed that the dr's have told me the right thing ;0)

I'm just over 7 weeks pregnant and my first midwife appoint is 11th of Jan 2011 then hopefully the scan towards the end of Jan i can't wait good luck xx

No, that's a bad idea. Try Ricola original lozenges with herbs - it nearly always works for me . . .
