I have not had my blood pressure check while taking my oxycodone, but it noticeably increases my heart rate. My average heart rate is between 80-90, but sometimes after I take oxy I check itbecause it feels like it's racing. During those times my heart rate is usually 100-110. I don't have any heart problems or high blood pressure so it has to he the oxy. And I'd guess if you're heart is racing, blood pressure is probably high too!

Excitotoxin effect, either the hydrocodone or the acetaminophen itself can raise diastolic greatly, especially if one feels stressed during the episode. Avoid it, find another solution to the problem...

Off the top of my head -- suboxone is an opioid and probably lowers blood pressure.
