There are some pistols that are meant to use both (like the KJW Xcelerator) and some gas guns that can be modded to use CO2 (this usually requires reinforcement of all parts involved in the gas system and sometimes even the slide because of the higher power of CO2), but most gas guns can't handle it. I would recommend buying a gun that comes able to do both out of the box, because modding one is a pain, but it is nice to be able to use either one (use a gas mag at close range and switch to CO2 if you are shooting further).

∙ 13y agoIf you have an AEG, a bb is chamber as soon as you put the magazine in. For GBB pistols, pull the slide back. For GBB rilfles and spring rifles, pull back the charging handle.

What is a spring-powered air rifle?
Their are 4 common types of air rifle power plants. Spring power: or Nitrogen piston power. this uses a large spring inside an air piston tube; When the barrel is cocked (Commonly called a break barrel rifle) the spring is pushed back in the piston chamber and locks. A pellet or BB is loaded. When the trigger is pulled it releases the spring, forcing the piston forward in the air piston chamber, Compressed air fires the pellet out the barrel. C02: a C02 cartridge is loaded into the rifle and acts as a small air chamber releasing some C02 each time the trigger is fired. Eventually the C02 is used up and has to be replaced. Pump power. simply you pump the forearm on the rifle and it fills an air tank. When you have enough compressed air you fire the rifle PCP: Pre Charge Pneumatic: This is a large air tank inside the rifle. It is charged with a bicycle pump or scuba tank. It's like an oversized C02 tank inside the rifle. Again each time the trigger is pulled the tank releases a burst of air behind the pellet to fire it out of the barrel. This type of air rifle is usually a very high-powered rifle.

You can make a Syrian hamster setup in a 10+ gallon fish tank. Make sure there is no water and that there is very soft bedding. You could also put various fish in your tank. The cool ones I think are the Angelfish, the Bettas, the X-ray Tetras, and the Neon Tetras. They need water and plants to swim around. You could put turtles in you fish tank. They need a very large tank though.
