According to Drugs.com GENERALLY AVOID: Due to its serotonergic activity, coadministration of tramadol with serotonin-enhancing drugs such as SSRIs, SNRIs, nefazodone, trazodone, and mirtazapine may potentiate the risk of serotonin syndrome, which is a rare but serious and potentially fatal condition thought to result from hyperstimulation of brainstem 5-HT1A and 2A receptors. Symptoms of the serotonin syndrome may include mental status changes such as irritability, altered consciousness, confusion, hallucinations, and coma; autonomic dysfunction such as tachycardia, hyperthermia, diaphoresis, shivering, blood pressure lability, and mydriasis; neuromuscular abnormalities such as hyperreflexia, myoclonus, tremor, rigidity, and ataxia; and gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal cramping, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Patients receiving tramadol with serotonin-enhancing drugs may also have an increased risk of seizures due to additive epileptogenic effects of these agents.
MANAGEMENT: In general, the use of tramadol in combination with highly serotonergic agents should be avoided if possible, or otherwise approached with caution if potential benefit is deemed to outweigh the risk. Patients should be closely monitored for symptoms of the serotonin syndrome during treatment. Particular caution is advised when increasing the dosages of these agents. The potential risk for serotonin syndrome should be considered even when administering serotonergic agents sequentially, as some agents may demonstrate a prolonged elimination half-life.
Talk to a medical professional before you mix these two drugs. Together, these drugs put a patient at risk for a rare disorder called serotonin syndrome. It is best to keep these drugs separate.
Always remember to take only the drugs prescribed to you, and only in the dosages prescribed by a medical professional.
well, you can, but seeing how Adderall is a stimulant and trazadone is a sleeping pill, they wouldn't work if you took them at the same time. And why would you want to? But you can take adderall, and then once your sick of being awake FOREVER you can take trazadone to sleep. I would recommend ceasing any adderall about 5 hours before you plan on going to sleep, and then take the traz about 30 minutes before you go to bed.
NO. I nearly died. I blacked out and nearly drowned in my own vomit.
uppers and downers = bad idea. I've done it to sleep AFTER I'm done rolling, just be careful and don't take more than 50-100 mg....
You're talking about ecstasy as if it were a prescription medication. Don't take ecstasy at all!
cafefully
I take adderall 60 mg, 30 in the morn and 30 about 1pm and trazadone 100mg at night
Yes.
Can I take benzonatate and trazodone together
yes you can!
Absolutely not! That is a severe drug interaction.
yes you can, i am prescribed 15mg adderall xr and my obgyn prescribed me cipro 500mg. I asked my pharmacist to make sure i could take them together or if i should wait a little while after i took the adderall to take the cipro and he said that it is ok to take them together.
Yes
I would not suggest taking two sedatives together.
I have been prescribed them together along with seroquel......
Yes, if both are prescribed for you, there is no problem in taking those 2 drugs together. To get the "sleeping" effect of trazodone, without interfering with prozac antidepressant effect, the trazodone dosage should be around 25mg to 100mg.
yes acetominophen will not interact with trazodone it is safe to take togather
maybe you can maybe you cant
