Tramadol HCL(brand name :Ultram )has been shown to cause opiod-dependency although not as likely as with other opiods. Dependence usually occurs with higher dosage and long-term use. You should be informed that the withdrawal symptoms of this drug are extremely uncomfortable. Most people have feelings of depression or even suicide. If you do become dependent of your Ultram (which is1/6 morphine, I might add) than please do not take it with Adderal because this can be a dangerous combination. Adderall has an even greater risk of dependence and some of the same withdrawal effects. If you are taking a safe or correct dosage of both of these medications under the guidance of you doctor than you should be fine. Its when you get dependent on these types of drugs that things get ugly.
