Can you take Adderall and tramadol together?

Answer: Yes, you can. However you need to first talk to your doctor concerning the risks and benefits of taking both. I can tell you of some risks, though. Tramadol HCL(brand name :Ultram )has been shown to cause opiod-dependency although not as likely as with other opiods. Dependence usually occurs with higher dosage and long-term use. You should be informed that the withdrawal symptoms of this drug are extremely uncomfortable. Most people have feelings of depression or even suicide. If you do become dependent of your Ultram (which is1/6 morphine, I might add) than please do not take it with Adderal because this can be a dangerous combination. Adderall has an even greater risk of dependence and some of the same withdrawal effects. If you are taking a safe or correct dosage of both of these medications under the guidance of you doctor than you should be fine. Its when you get dependent on these types of drugs that things get ugly.

Taking Tramadol HCL Along With Adderall, Is Not Typically Recommended. Due To The Fact That Tramadol And Adderall Both Lower Your Bodys Seizure Threshold.

You can, but one is going to supersede the other. Tramadol is a Central Nervous System (CNS) depressant while Adderall is a CNS stimulant. Adderall is an amphetamine that speeds you up while Tramadol is a painkiller with sedative side effects that is going to slow you down.

I had a patient that took Cocaine (stimulant) and Heroin (depressant) and the result left her unresponsive and barely breathing. She received Narcan (narcotic reversal agent) which reversed the Heroin and in turn gave her super-human strength and a heart rate of about 180.

It wouldn't really make sense to take the tramadol with the oxycodone and neurontin, since the neurontin is used to dampen the GABA receptors and wean the opioid analgesic effects the oxy has on the brain.

I got prescribed ultram 200mg XR and am on vyvanse 60mg i take them at the same time. I have actually chewed up 3 of the tramadol at once and taken with vyvanse. Better high than vicodin
