∙ 14y agoYou did not specify what sort of test. If you touch it and someone were to swab test your hand before you had a chance to clean them well, yes it is possible, however that scenario is not very likely.
For a blood, urine or hair test you would have had to consumed (smoked, eaten or drank) some amount of cannabis in order to test positive.

Also be mindfull that it can stay in your system for days, weeks, or maybe months. Light smokers can have there system detoxed in a couple days. Heavier ones have the THC stored in there fat cells, so it takesl onger for it to be removed.

Actually, you can test positive by being in the same room as someone smoking pot. You can inhale, injest and smoke it to test positive.
So be careful. That is why to get a true test of use, you have to have hair folicle test to prove long term use.
