An antibiotic will be absolutely useless on a yeast infection, and will only make it worse. When taking antibiotics, you can give your dog yogurt, but not Frozen Yogurt, because it has no active cultures (acidophilus). You can also give your dog acidophilus pills while its on antibiotics to prevent yeast infections, but check with your vet for the amount to give your dog. The tablets are available at any drug store, and you don't need a prescription. These same measures also apply to people.
