Yes. the computer will adjust the timing automatically; however, you will see about a ten percent drop in fuel mileage so why bother.? Also, you may get carbon buildup using regular. when you figure the difference in cost against the loss in mileage you find you're saving nothing.

18 I don't think so. Mine only holds just over 12 gallons. In fact that is one of the original complaints that reviews gave the Catera, too small of a gas tank.
The fuel pump is inside the gas tank. You must remove the tank to change the pump.
