But there are some good toothpastes made specifically for dogs; these are formulated for a dog's tastes, which will make brushing his/her teeth much easier for you, and for the dog. ∙ 12y agoYou can brush your dog's teeth like you would your own with a regular toothbrush. If you prefer, you can get a special doggie toothbrush from the pet store along with nice meaty-flavored toothpaste.

∙ 12y agoIt is not recommended to use human type toothpaste for your dog. They make special toothpaste just for dogs, can get it through Pet Stores, Feed Stores or your regular Veterinarian. You can also get a toothbrush for dogs there too. Brush your dog's teeth once or twice a day.
