A pop rivet, of course.
upset -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Upsetting the rivet is to compress the rivet during the installation process. That can be done with a rivet gun to "hammer" the rivet against a bucking bar, or to use a rivet squeezer to compress the rivet.
A Molly Rivet is much like a standard rivet except the shank on a molly rivet mushrooms out to grip a hollow wall. they still require the use of a rivet gun, they just have a much larger gripping area so as to not tear out of the hole they are installed into.
Power door lock actuators are relatively easy to change. you can get them from dealer, parts stores or even ebay. I got mine for $7 each on ebay. many gm and jeep vehicles use the same actuator just use the original bracket. Take off the door panel and drill out the pop rivet remove and replace. you will need a pop rivet gun and some rivets.

There are two kinds of rivet tool, the pneumatic rivet tool and the manual rivet tool. Press the trigger and push the metal into the rivet, then release the trigger so it is held in place. Push the head of the rivet through the holes in the metal then pull and release the handle consecutively until the pin pops.
