"No but depending on the size of the human being it may be long enough to cross New York or a reall tall person mabey California"

I don't know where this person gets there information but this is wrong. If you take out all your circulatory system and put it end to end it would cirlce the earth more than once. It is between 50k and 100k miles long.

The answer you are expecting for this trivia item is: "If all the blood vessels in your body were laid end to end, they would reach about 60,000 miles."

However, as to what would "happen" if you did this, it would cause immediate :

  • heart failure = death
  • respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest = death
  • bleeding out and complete loss of blood volume = death
  • death of muscles and all organs = death
  • collapse and flattening of all veins and arteries
  • usability, because there would be no blood to pump through them
  • loss of valves and valve functioning, because they only can go one way (you did not lay them down with the valves facing the right way)
  • useless pile of veins that cannot be reused = medical waste = incineration of medical waste

Think I'd rather keep my veins in my body!
