you probably have a blocked drain line or if you have a condensate pump you should check to see if it's full of water. if the trap is blocked just blow it out or run something flexible through to clear the blockage.

What are some things that could be wrong if your AC unit sounds like running water?

central AC unit - sometimes after any AC unit shuts off, you might hear the refrigerant gurgling in the lines, that is normal. window AC - older AC units had water draining out of the back end of it, this is the moisture removed from the air in the room. Newer AC units usually do not have any water draining out, the water is splashed on the hot coils in the back end, where it evaporates, which helps get rid of the heat and makes the unit operate more efficiently. it is normal.

There is a water leaking in the pipeline of AC how much it costs to change AC pipeline?

You are not leaking water. Its humid, so the cold parts of your a/c unit are condensing moisture much like a cold drink gets water droplets on the outside. find the source, wrap that tubing with insulation and viola, no more drips.

What does it mean when water is dripping from the ac unit in the house How do you stop your central AC from dripping water in the return air vent?

Water will condense in the inside unit of the air conditioner. This is because the coils in the unit get cold (ad expected) and moisture in the air condenses on them like moisture on a cold glass. There should be a drain inside the unit to drain this water. Check that it isn't clogged.

Should there always be water on the ground after you turn the car off from running your ac unit if no water on the ground does that mean theres a problem its a 1991 Chevy cavalier?

When an AC cools the air, moisture from the air condenses on the cold evaporator coils. That condensate drips from the coils to a catch pan and drips out the bottom through a specially designed drip tube. If the air is too dry to give up any moisture to condensation you MAY not see any condensate drip out of the AC. If the air comming out of the AC in your vehicle is comfortable, don't worry about the condensate.

How does a window ac unit drain?

Most window ac units have the compressor outside and the waste water simply drips off to the ground. Some have an optional tube so that the drip can be diverted to the garden or to the storm sewer. In some places you are supposed to have the tube send the drip water into a sand and gravel drip well.

Where is the fan capacitor on central ac unit?

Either mounted to the fan or in the electrical compartment on the outdoor unit.

My central heat and air unit makes my sink make a popping noise when it comes on?

If the drain line from the ac unit is tied into the sink drain line, the trap leaving the ac unit has probably run dry. Fill the trap at the ac unit with a cup of water and it should stop the noise. Assuming a proper install, kinda hard guessing about it from here without seeing it.

How much to charge a new central air unit?

New central ac units come precharged from the factory.
