Changed spark plugs on 2002 ford escape 6-cylinder and put in a lifetime air filter. Started the vheicle and now check engine light on and runs very rough.?

Check to make sure you got the plug wires back in the right place. Make sure you have the right plugs, and that you didn't break or crack any of them while installing. It is also possible that one of the new plugs is bad, but unlikely.

I need to know what year the vheicle is first, but I'll give you a rough overview. The clock is lit up by a bulb in the back of the clock display in the instrument cluster. To replace the bulb you need to remove the instrument cluster (it is very easy, but I recommend the use of Mercedes Special Tools. Mercedes produces a set of hook tools especially for jobs like this.) and take out the socket and replace the bulb. Note: If you are going to remove the instrument cluster for the repair, replace all the bulbs in the cluster. Chances are if one has gone bad, others are about to go bad, so get it all done at the same time so you don't have to do it again a week later.

You have to lower the gas tank in order to replace it . The fuel pumpis inside the tank under the driver side. there r two heavy duty straps holding the tank in place 15mm scoket werench to take off bolts. Then you have to be carefull. make sure that you take off the hose that is connected to the gas filler tube. lower it slowly making sure you don't break the gas lines that go to the pump and the one that is in the front by the frame of the vheicle. than you are going to need a key type deal tha you can at auto zone " fule line disconnector for fuel pump" they'll know. desconnect the lines, take holder ring off, watch out fuel pump may be spring loaded. replace, put every back the way you took off and your set.P.S..... if you do it your self may take a cuple of hours if you don't know what you are doing. may take a micahnic 1.5 hrs....make sure you take out all the gas out of the tank will br very heavy if you don't... hopr it helps i have to replace it on my Tahoe too (3 time) good luck cisco!!!!
