There are seven characteristics of life. The first is that all living things are composed of cells. The second is that living things have different levels of organization. The third is that all living things use energy. The fourth is that all living things respond to their environment. The fifth is that all living things grow. The sixth is that all living things reproduce. The seventh is that all living things can adapt to their environment.
A living thing can grow and reproduce or replicate itself. A virus is generally not classed as a living thing, as it can only invade a host cell and allow that cell to replicate it.
A living thing has to have:
Movement
Respiration
Sensitivity
Cells
Growth
Reproduction
Excretion
Nutrition
There are many characteristics used to identify and classify living things. One of these is how many cells the living thing is made of.
Living organisms grow and develop, are able to reproduce somehow, have a need for energy, and have a life span.
They are classified as non living thing because they dont have the characteristics of living things.
The characteristics of a living thing are determined by its DNA.
Humans are classified as living organisms because they show the characteristics of a living organisms like:- 1.They do respiration. 2.They do loco motions. 3.They eat & etc.
because
Any thing that does not obtain homeostasis is not classified as living

I have no idea what you're talking about... >:)

Since they are not living, they are not classified and placed in a kingdom.
Of course it is

Glass is classified as a non-living thing. The terms "living" and "dead" are used to describe organisms. Living things have characteristics such as growth, reproduction, response to stimuli, and metabolic processes. When they no longer exhibit these characteristics, they are considered dead. Glass, on the other hand, is an amorphous solid material that does not have the characteristics of living organisms at any point. It doesn't grow, reproduce, or undergo metabolic processes. It's simply a non-living material made primarily from silica (derived from sand), soda ash, and limestone.
Viruses are classified under the domain of "Riboviria," which includes viruses with RNA genomes. Viruses are not considered to be living organisms because they cannot replicate or carry out metabolic processes on their own and require a host cell to reproduce.
